Description

Experience the Côte d’Azur like never before. Over the course of this 3-day luxury journey, you will access exceptional art foundations, private sculpture parks, remarkable post-war villas – and more.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP

Immerse yourself in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the most artistic village on the Côte d’Azur, final resting place of Marc Chagall.

  • CAB FOUNDATION – A Provençal extension of the Brussels institution devoted to minimal and conceptual art, with interiors by renowned French designer Charles Zana. The foundation notably presents the demountable house by the iconic architect and designer Jean Prouvé.
  • ARIK LEVY SCULPTURE PARK – Private visit to the home and main studio of Arik Levy and Zoé Ouvrier. Discover monumental sculptures and artworks displayed throughout the studio and surrounding park during an unforgettable encounter.
  • MAEGHT FOUNDATION – Often described as the “Anti-Louvre in the sun,” this major European institution (since 1964) houses more than 13,000 works by artists including Miro, Léger, Bonnard, Giacometti, Chillida, Tal Coat, Richier, Hantai, Soulages… Surrounded by nature, you will explore the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, the sculpture garden, and iconic in situ works such as Miró’s labyrinth and the Chagall mosaic.

We’ll also explore the architectural and cultural gems of the French Riviera:

  • VILLA KERYLOS – Private tour of the reconstruction of an ancient Greek villa, designed by the architect Emmanuel Pontremoli.
  • VILLA EPHRUSSI DE ROTHSCHILD – Private tour of the villa and its 9 gardens, located on the Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula.
  • EILEN GRAY’S VILLA E-1027 – Private tour of the villa and Le Corbusier’s hut, veritable icons of modernist architecture nested in the Cap-Martin in front of Monaco.
  • CHAPELLE MATISSE – Designed and decorated by Henri Matisse himself in the early 1950’s, the chapel is one of the most profound works by the artist that he considered it his masterpiece.

We will stay and dine in legendary establishments that embody Riviera heritage:

  • AUBERGE DE LA COLOMBE d’OR – An iconic address where artists such as Fernand Léger and Alexander Calder left works now integrated into the hotel’s collection.
  • LA TOILE BLANCHE – An art-hotel adorned with contemporary works, including pieces by the Leroy Brothers.
  • CHÂTEAU DE LA CHÈVRE D’OR – A legendary two-Michelin-starred establishment in the medieval village of Èze, overlooking the Mediterranean.
