Created more than 260 years ago, Sèvres is one of the rare historical factories to have remained the property of the French State. It is an obligatory pilgrimage for those interested in Decorative Arts, ceramics and porcelain. We make you discover the workshops closed to the public which continue to work according to traditional methods. 120 ceramists practice and master around thirty trades. There are also all the materials used internally (pastes, colours, enamels, etc.), including the famous Bleu de Sèvres. Sèvres maintains an ancient tradition – giving voice to the artists of its time – and shows us in its gallery the latest works produced by contemporary artists from all over the world.
