We reveal the secrets of a sacred place of French Decorative Arts: Mobilier National workshops and the Manufacture des Gobelins, the oldest tapestry factory. This unique place is still in the possession of the French state and is usually closed to the public. The works created here adorn the Elysée Palace, embassies and other official buildings. We will visit a historical building and workshop where 18th-century production technologies have been preserved to this day. You will see the world-renowned masters at work, creating monumental tapestries based on sketches by contemporary artists and a desk for the Minister of Finance designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance in process.
