Atelier Saint Didier, the best crasftsman in France

The founder of Atelier Saint Didier, Caroline PreĢgermain, turns a centuries old craft into a modern art that easily finds its place in contemporary architecture and decoration.

Cutting glass, painting it, leading it – such is the ancestral art that Caroline PreĢgermain has rejuvenated by playing with shapes and colours to create unique atmospheres and transform light.

The creations executedĀ  are extremely diverse. Indeed, there is no limit to the playful use one can make of glass: of course, it can be seen in windows, but also in sliding doors, screens, paintings, furniture or decorative objects.

Caroline PreĢgermain received the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsman in France) in 1994. Today, she enhances the modernity of this centuries old technique and defends it as fully contemporary among designers.

The studio collaborates with prestigious interior designers. These collaborations lead to international projects that count among her most beautiful works. Most of Atelier Saint Didier creations embellish many Parisian flats, Russian houses, or palaces in Qatar or Saudi Arabia. One of its recent works now adorns the Lancel boutique on the Champs-ElyseĢes.
