Art Paris 2026 : A Grand Celebration of Contemporary Creation
Art Paris has been the must-attend spring event for modern and contemporary art in the French capital for over two decades. After a triumphant 2025 edition, Art Paris will once again take place from 8 to 12 April in the recently renovated gem of Belle Epoque architecture.
This year’s 28th edition will host around 165 French and international galleries, offering an ambitious programme. With 60% of the exhibitors being French and 40% international, the fair remains a vibrant crossroads for artistic discovery, balancing regional expertise with global perspectives. This year also introduces a significant number of new participants, further enriching the diversity of its artistic offerings.

The fair continues its commitment to thematic curation, with two thought-provoking focuses: “Reparation” curated by Alexia Fabre the former Director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, an exploration of contemporary art through the perspective of reparation, and “Babel – Art and Language in France ” curated by Loïc Le Gall, an exploration of the richness and the enigmas of systems of signs and linguistic structures in French contemporary art. These curated sections will highlight the evolution of artistic movements and the dialogue between generations of artists, reinforcing Art Paris’ role as a leading platform for critical discourse in the art world.
Beyond the gallery booths, Art Paris 2026 will feature a newly expanded “Promises” section, dedicated to emerging artists and young galleries, as well as Solo Show, that present monographic exhibitions throughout the fair in the general and Promises sections. This year also marks the second edition of the “French Design Art Edition”, a sector devoted to collectible design and contemporary decorative arts, bridging the gap between artistic disciplines. Art Paris 2026 promises a celebration of artistic excellence in all its forms.
With an estimated 85,000 visitors, including collectors, curators, and design enthusiasts, this edition is set to reaffirm Paris as the global epicenter of creativity.
